Crude Awakening: Art photos of oil in the water in Lake Michigan from Jane Fulton Alt

It's hard to imagine oil in the water destroying beaches. Everyone around the Gulf of Mexico is either living with that today or very fearful that their beach may be next.

The Chicago Tribune featured this photo montage from photographer Jane Fulton Alt, imagining what oil in Lake Michigan could do. It's below.
